01 · Qué es un agente01 · What an agent is
Un chat contesta. Un agente hace.A chat answers. An agent acts.
The last few years have taught us to talk to AI. You ask, it answers, and you still do the work: you copy, you paste, you open the program, you send it. That's a chat, and it's already a lot.
An agent is something else. It's a model that reasons, with access to the tools of its job and clear rules about what it can do without asking you. It doesn't explain how to chase an invoice: it checks who owes you in your accounting software, drafts the emails and leaves them ready to send.

PiensaIt thinks

-
Usa tus herramientasIt uses your tools
Tu correo, tu contabilidad, tu tienda, tus hojas. Las mismas que usas tú.Your email, your accounting, your shop, your spreadsheets. The same ones you use.
-

Your company, your customers and how you like things done.
-
Rinde cuentasIt's accountable
It shows you what it did and asks for your OK before touching anything outside.
If you have to explain everything every time, it's not a teammate. It's one more program to manage.
02 · Equipos, no genios02 · Teams, not geniuses
Un agente para cada trabajo. One agent for each job.
There's a temptation in this industry: to build a single assistant that knows everything. We don't believe in it. Companies have never worked that way, and agents shouldn't either.
They work like a good team. Each agent has a trade, such as collections, invoicing, social media or customer service, and the tools of that trade. Nothing more. An agent with a well-defined job makes fewer mistakes, can be measured and can be corrected. And when the work crosses from one trade to another, someone coordinates it.

At Wuama, Enzo is the one who hands out the work. You ask for something in one sentence and Enzo decides who does it. Agents are grouped into departments with their own lead, just like in a big company. The difference is that this team fits in a small business, and in its budget.
03 · Cerebro y memoria03 · Brain and memory
Un cerebro para la empresa. Una memoria para cada agente.A brain for the company. A memory for each agent.
Y si no entra nada, no sale nada.
There's a lot of talk lately about the company brain. For us there's nothing mysterious about it: it's your business data, well structured. Who your customers are and what they buy, who owes you and since when, who supplies you and at what price, how things are done in your company. Each thing with its name, its date and its source, so an agent can look it up instead of guessing.
And we start from an unglamorous truth: garbage in, garbage out. And if nothing goes in, nothing comes out. The best model in the world can't chase an invoice it doesn't know exists, or recommend a supplier it has never heard of. Without data, an agent can only sound convincing. That's why, at Wuama, the company brain isn't an extra: it comes first.
A small business already has the data. The problem is that it's scattered: in the accounting software, in a database, in spreadsheets, in folders, in email and in the head of whoever has been there for twenty years. Building the brain isn't buying a box to throw everything into. It's solving four problems nobody sees.

TraerloBring it in
From many places at once: your accounting, your databases, your documents, your conversations. Nothing typed in by hand.
-
OrdenarloPut it in order
The same customer written three ways is one customer. Every fact in its own record, linked to what it belongs to.
-
Mantenerlo al díaKeep it current
What stops being true is closed with a date and a reason. Figures are read live, not from an old copy.
-
GobernarloGovern it
Each agent sees what its role needs and nothing more. You decide who sees what, and anything personal starts out locked.
The brain is not the agent's memory.
This is the most common confusion. If the brain knows everything, why not hand the whole thing to the agent? Because it doesn't work. An agent with the company's entire archive in front of it gets lost: it mixes up today with a year ago, confuses one customer with another, takes longer and costs more. Nobody in your office starts the day by reading every filing cabinet.
But it can't start from a blank page either. An agent that has to ask who you are, how you sign your emails or which customer always pays late every time it starts isn't a teammate: it's a new intern every morning. Between those two extremes there's a fine line, and finding it is a big part of the craft.
-
Va en blancoStarts blank
Pregunta por todo y no avanza. Tienes que explicárselo cada vez.Asks about everything and gets nowhere. You have to explain it every time.
-
Keeps its trade in its head and knows where to find the rest.
-
Gets lost, mixes old with new, and every task costs more.
That's why at Wuama they are two different things. The brain belongs to the company: it holds everything, in order and with its permissions. Memory belongs to each agent: the essentials of its role and nothing more. Who your company is, how you like things done, what was left pending last time. It doesn't carry the rest: it looks it up in the brain when the work calls for it. A customer record, a specific invoice, today's figure.
An agent doesn't need to know everything. It needs to know just enough, and where to find the rest.
04 · Autonomía04 · Autonomy
Un agente hace tareas. Un equipo consigue objetivos. An agent does tasks. A team achieves goals.
There's a lot of talk about autonomous agents, as if one very smart agent were enough to hand over the company. Our experience says otherwise: an agent is only autonomous in small things. Answering an email, preparing an invoice, checking who owes you. There it can work on its own, and it should. But the bigger the assignment, the more lost it gets: it doesn't know where to start, who to ask for help or when it's done.
Real life works the same way. Nobody would ask a single person to improve the company's billing. You ask the admin department. Its head turns it into a plan, splits up the work, reviews what comes back and tells you how it's going. Big things have never been achieved by one person alone. They're achieved by a team with a leader and a goal.
A un agente, una tareaTo an agent, a task
«Reclama las facturas vencidas de marzo.»“Chase the overdue invoices from March.”
It does it alone, start to finish, and leaves it ready to send.
A un equipo, un objetivoTo a team, a goal
«Quiero cobrar antes.»“I want to get paid sooner.”
The head of Admin turns it into a plan.
- Reparte encargos entre cobros, facturas y contabilidad.Splits the work across collections, invoicing and accounting.
- Revisa lo que le devuelve cada uno.Reviews what each one hands back.
- Te cuenta cómo va y qué necesita de ti.Tells you how it's going and what it needs from you.
That's how Wuama works. You give your company goals, not to-do lists. Enzo passes them down to the departments, each lead breaks them into assignments for the team, each specialist does their part and hands it back, and the result comes back up to you, summarised. Every morning the leads take stock and decide what gets done today. And if anyone is missing something, an access, a piece of data or a decision from you, they ask you for it.
You don't ask one person to improve billing. You ask a team.
But autonomy isn't a free-for-all. Some things are never delegated, and you decide them: how much can be spent, who can be contacted, what's off limits. Those red lines travel with every assignment, from Enzo down to the last specialist, and no agent crosses them. The team works within the budget you set and warns you before it runs out. Nothing leaves your company without your OK.
And everything is on record: who asked for what, what each one looked at, what they decided and why. A team where you can't see what's going on is not a team you can trust.
05 · El trabajo que viene05 · The work ahead
Size will no longer decide what a company can do.
For a century, having a marketing department, a collections department and a customer service department was something only big companies could afford. A small business had to choose: either the owner did it at night, or it didn't get done.
Agents change that equation. Repetitive work moves to a team that never gets tired or goes on holiday: chasing invoices, answering the same emails, reconciling spreadsheets, posting on social media. And people get back to what no machine can do for them: dealing with their customers, making decisions and growing the business.
The technology is already here. What's missing is making it easy. Of the European companies that considered using AI and didn't, 71% said they lacked the know-how. (Eurostat, 2025) It isn't interest they lack: it's someone who makes it easy for them. That's our job.
Tomorrow's business owner doesn't juggle ten programs. They have a team, and they tell it what they need.
Wuama exists so that any company, however small, can have the team that only big companies could afford before. And so that using it is as easy as asking.
